A short but thrilling hot Sci-fi/Fantasy from S. E. Gilchrist. Fran is a Young human woman fran, who leaves her ordinary (and safe) life and volunteers as a colonist toterra‐form a new earth. But not every thing went as expected when she is locked in a prison cell on an alien planet where she is witness of horrible actions against here co-priserners and bound for a hideous death in the notorious research chambers of the aliens who kidnapped her.
She has one chance of escape. SHe has to awaken the long dormant sexual urges of the Darkon Warriors shackled in the cell next to her.
Its is a waste that half the book is about fran and her live as a prisoner locked in a cell with other woman human and alien. And the other half about the rescue and in the middle a quick but hot mating with strange aliens who are shackled after almost being beaten to death. But still some how find the power to lure a strange woman in actions she maybe normally never would have done.
I had the feeling I was missing something “in the middle”, maybe there could have been a little more tension or just some more happy time at the end. I would have liked to see how life would be after meeting each other just a few hours ago.
