Questions we asked Faith Thomlinson from Denial by Adele Carrington

For those readers who may not know you, please tell them a few tidbits about Faith?
Faith: Last year I was a normal British woman, I met Jonathan and fell head over heels with the life he offered me as much as with him. In a hotel in Paris after I’d just told him I loved him he bit me and then beat me. I haven’t heard from him since, worse still I think I might be turning into him.

What did you do before the story begun?
Faith: I was normal and boring. I worked at an insurance company, paid my mortgage on time, spent time with my family and friends. I kept to myself and basically plodded.

What is your favorite part/memory?
Faith: My favourite memory is spending time in Dubai, the luxury and opulence of the country is like nothing I have ever experienced and will probably never experience again.

If you and your future boyfriend would go on a date, where would it be and why?
I never seem to date, it’s more about the hunt and the sex. I wish it was about more but it isn’t.

What are your favorite weapons?
I really don’t hold much with weapons.

What/who would you never want to come across again?
Faith: Jonathan

If you could have a re-match. With who would that be?
Faith: n/a

How do you see your future?

Faith: I’m not sure I have to come to terms with what has happened, what I have become. I’ll let the future look after itself.

Denial by Adele Carrington

I hate my life!”

“After careful consideration and contemplation involving far too much alcohol I am resigned to the fact that I hate my life. I am a single thirty-one year old woman, living alone in my two bed terrace on the outskirts of Leeds. I have no job and three failed relationships, the last ending when the bastard bit me, seriously, this guy drew blood.”

Faith Thomlinson’s life isn’t living up to expectations, her dull monotonous life had been interrupted by the wealthy enigmatic Jonathan. It’s a shame that he isn’t all he seems, or is that he is more than he seems? Jonathan holds a bloody secret that will endanger Faith’s life and challenge everything she thinks she knows.

Bio: Adele Carrington

Adele Carrington is a 36 year old British author. Denial, her first book, was written in Whitby over looking the same gothic scenery that inspired Bram Stoker. It seems fitting that the home of the Vampires inspired a new generation of writers and that Denial takes a new look at this legend in the contemporary style of Urban Fantasy.
After years of changing careers from beauty therapist, health and safety officer to teacher, Adele decided to sit down on do the one thing that she allows wanted to do, she wrote a novel.
“While other people wanted to be models or firemen all I wanted to do was be an author, it took me thirty years before I had the confidence to let people read what I had penned.”
The novel was picked up by a small British publisher Netherworld Books and with their help and plenty of hours working until the dawn, the first in the Varcolac Journals was published in 2012. The script for a TV show has already been started and all involved, especially Adele are looking forward to the hunt for a new face to play the dark brooding Jonathan.
